Trevor – Founder & Owner

Trevor is the visionary founder and driving force behind Dirty Gofer Network. Beginning in November 2015 as a small YouTube channel, he expanded the project into Australia’s premier Rust server network—launching the original AU Vanilla server, then US slots, and eventually the Hapis map—before rebranding as Dirty Gofer Network and growing to a dozen custom-modded servers. Trevor continues to oversee all technical operations, from hardware and anycast networking to in-house plugin development, ensuring low-lag, high-performance gameplay and a community-first ethos.

Early Beginnings
Trevor launched Dirty Gofer as a YouTube channel in November 2015, sharing Rust gameplay and building a small community of viewers. He identified a recurring pain point—high ping, server lag, and admin abuse—that drove him to step beyond content creation and build his own server environments.

Growing the Network
- First Server: In 2017, Trevor spun up [AU] Dirty Gofer Vanilla, offering a stable, lightly modded Rust experience.
- US Expansion: After establishing a solid Australian player base, he deployed additional servers in North America to reduce transpacific latency.
- Hapis Revival: When Facepunch retired the Hapis Island map, Trevor secured the static version—renamed Dirty Gofer Hapis—to preserve classic gameplay.
- Rebranding: As servers grew to twelve modded environments, he rechristened the project Dirty Gofer Network, reflecting its broader scope.

Technical Leadership
Trevor spearheads all infrastructure decisions:
- Dedicated Hardware & Anycast Networking:** To guarantee low-lag, high-availability gameplay.
- In-House Plugin Development: Working closely a private dev team, he commissions Unity-based Oxide plugins that no third party can replicate.
- EAHP Anti-Cheat Integration: Under his guidance, Dirty Gofer’s proprietary Enforcing Anti-Hack Program has evolved through three major releases, blending open-source collaboration with rigorous in-house testing.

Community & Vision
Trevor’s hands-on approach extends beyond servers into community engagement:
- Player-First Support: He ensures rapid response via in-game `/report`, Discord ticket forums, and weekly hack-attempt summaries.
- Events & Radio: He championed Dirty Gofer Radio—hosted by Fish -to soundtrack gameplay with custom tracks, tying the network together around shared media.
- Core Values:Trevor instills Innovation, Fair Play, and Perfection in Execution across every aspect of Dirty Gofer’s operations.

Under Trevor’s stewardship, Dirty Gofer Network continues to push the boundaries of multiplayer survival, blending technical excellence with a community-driven spirit.
